Reporting to the SVP, I managed new product development initiatives for western markets from strategy, ideation, design to execution. IngDan, a subsidiary of Cogobuy Group, listed on the HK stock exchange (HK400) was China’s largest IoT hardware innovation platform at the time, enabling startups and entrepreneurs to access world-class hardware manufacturers at an affordable cost and provided a global platform for product exposure and sales.

Sterling Rock Ltd is a strategic technology design house that works with multi-sector clients to grow their businesses through targeted custom built software products that deliver year-on-year revenue growth in line with specific strategic business aims and objectives.
Technology is not magic, but when you really understand the client needs and are building something that just fits it, its indistinguishable from magic. As a Technical product manager my job was to understand the overall specification, design, and then transform the vision into statements of work, product requirements, sprints and ultimately delivery.
Projects included a then disruptive way to book exercise classes allowing customers to buy blocks of tickets and redeem them at different gyms, workshops and classes with no monthly commitments. New product innovation and automation to one of Nigeria’s top oil producers in the a Aviation sector. Building a data centric solution for a US wealth management firm that helped predict, target and execute on new and existing opportunities.

Craft brewed in Žatec, the home of Saaz hops, CELIA mixes the proud Czech brewing heritage of open fermentation and long maturation to produce the superb gluten-free pilsener
Joining at a fast paste and rapid development stage, I successfully developed new sales channels from lead generation through to fruition, presenting to corporate prospects both individually and as part of the team. I conducted extensive market research both in the macro and micro environments to assist with brand development, where I created all new enterprise sales material, redesigned a new sharper & on message website as well as creating the B2B & B2C show stand graphics for the companies trade shows. I achieved significant press and PR coverage for the brand on and off line as well as working with clients to achieve greater brand exposure & cross promotion.

Overall responsibility for returns refurbishment and resale program for navigators sold through the Wal Mart & Sam’s Club channel. Provided analysis of return rates and trends. Managed the refurbishment of units, set testing criteria and performed quality control sample checks. Full budget responsibility for the sourcing and purchasing of all components required. Developed promotional material and sales network for refurbished units including online resellers such as Woot.

BBC - Production Assistant

Working on various projects, most notably a coming of age TV Show about three boys in Wales, inseparable friends until one day a girl comes into the picture and changes the dynamic. The trio constantly got up to mischief together while bonding and learning life lessons. I worked on multiple filming locations in the UK, from assisting with location logistics, setup, filming and editing. Unfortunately, as is the way in life, the shows did not get the green light for broadcast. However, the experience in production and the BBC have been invaluable throughout my career.

Working with Navevo and Protronica with a new GPS product targeted specifically at commercial vehicles taking information about the vehicles details into account when calculating routes.
Involved at the planning stage organizing the product launch from the market research and focus groups up to the organization for the TruckFest show. I was tasked with creating and ordering the product graphic display for the exhibition, ordering of show supplies, setup of the stand and subsequent marketing of the product - taking cash and card payments and the follow up of larger corporate orders after the show.
